E.ON is outsourcing part of its IT services, which up until now were carried out in-house. Hewlett-Packard (HP) and T-Systems are E.ON’s future partners. The contracts will be signed on December 9, 2010.
The outsourcing is an integral part of the E.ON Group-wide performance-enhancement program PerformtoWin. “We are strengthening E.ON’s competitiveness in this increasingly difficult environment and aim to take an even more strategic approach to the core business in the future,” says Dr. Marcus Schenck, Member of the E.ON Board of Management. Fix up a date with the Spider: SEO Tips

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) isn’t rocket science! But it sure has a lot to do with robots and spiders and all those weird terms techies can come up with to describe a system that Google has put into place to keep almost every website in the world on its toes. What basically a Google robot or a spider (because it crawls all over the Web in search of content) does is that it reads and copies whatever content there is on the internet. Database software is important when you are in charge of managing the information files for a large company or workstation. Times were not simply “a-changing.” Times changed, forever.
The first Mac was a drastic departure from Apple’s previous “new thing,” the $10,000 Lisa. The Lisa had the GUI, it had …

How Colocation Can Lead to Widespread Adoption of the Cloud

Cloud computing is a type of shared computing where one utilizes a hosting provider’s large-scale computing infrastructure. In other words, a provider with thousands of servers interlinked together, will rent out their massive computing capabilities to customers looking to only pay for the computing that they use.
One of the benefits of cloud computing is the flexibility it provides. In theory, you can use 1 unit (CPU, storage, RAM or data transfer) one second and 100s of units the next second and you only pay for the units you use with no minimum or fixed fee. There is no commitment and you can stop using/paying whenever you want.
The only investment and commitment you must make is …
